To announce its first-ever year as Official Sports Drink of The AFL, Gatorade proudly took to the market with a 360-degree campaign and, as always, called upon The Marketing Syndicate to assist with its implementation.

An extensive campaign of work was created, including the design of thematic AFL brand ambassador packs, sponsor point of sale, outdoor advertising, grassroots clubs promotion and seven account specific consumer promotions (one of which required event management of an athlete meet and greet).

The quality of the campaign resulted in The Marketing Syndicate being re-engaged for a second year and contributed to the joint agency team winning “BEST AD/CREATIVE” and “GRAND AWARD” at the PepsiCo Australia & New Zealand agency awards.
